Music Recommendation – Single – Khalil ft. Blake Kelly and Tory Lanez, 2 Ea$y

2 Ea$y is the second track on Khalil’s A Long Story Short mixtape, released only a couple of months ago. The song was produced by Soundz, whose production I have yet to see (or at least recognize) from anywhere else. Khalil himself is known for his work with Justin Bieber, who appears on the mixtape under the alias “Bizzle.” I was going to make a sarcastic remark about that, but I think it speaks for itself. Every bit of laughter will come from that name rather than the joke I make about it.

2 Ea$y puts Tory Lanez on the hook, who I have been fond of for a couple of years now. His voice is highly underrated and relatively unrecognized by high-profile names, but it was nice to see him high up on Khalil’s tape. This is definitely my favorite song on the tracklist, and while the mixtape itself is not worth mentioning, the song is enjoyable.

The song is short, like not even three minutes long. Then again, some songs just would become excessive if they were not short (see also). The lone rap verse is nothing super memorable, though solid in flow. This is absolutely a slept on Hip-Hop/RnB song though.

Overall, I would rate the song at 9.25/10. Most modern Hip-Hop/Rap fans will find this an appealing and enjoyable track, despite its short length. You can listen to the song below:
