When the music scene is having a dry day, I pull out a bit of hydration out of the old napsack (even if it is a few days old). In this case, the four-day old water is Jordan Bratton’s Danger. This is my first Jordan Bratton song, and I have to say I was impressed.
Bratton does that voice synthisizer-thing like The Weeknd, which when done at the right amount can improve any voice talent. At times it feels a bit overdone but that is more of a complaint about the artist’s sound than this particular song. The production is actually really solid and kept my attention. Fabolous sounds all-around consistent, though I have never really been the biggest fan of Fabolous’ verses.
Not much to say about the song other than it is a little low-tempo. So don’t go into this thinking you’re encountering a fast song. The beat is complex and Bratton’s voice is pleasant, so the song is a good listen. Overall I would give it a 9/10. I would be careful as I can see this not appealing very much to anyone who is iffy on the RnB genre in general. However you can still give it a listen below:
