Gospel Music grabbed my attention immediately when it began. The beat reminded me of a sample from Logic’s Under Pressure, whose production I have praised before. Props go to production by Apollo Brown on this song, as it is professional-level sound. Meanwhile, the voice of Viktor Rasiia’s raps is impressive as well.
Gospel Music is definitely my favorite track by Rasiia, and his flow is probably the best part of his role. The static throughout is a little annoying but hardly ruins the song. The lyricism is solid, though it seems to lose focus amongst verses. The deep voice of Rasiia’s sound is definitely intriguing and enjoyable to listen to.
Overall, I would rate the song at 8.5/10. As per my complaints above, but this is definitely a song that has been slept on and absolutely worth a listen. A lot of effort was put forward into creating this track, and for the most part it shows. You can stream the song below:
