Sadly this is one of the most underrated Trey Songz tracks on his album Chapter V. While a bit explicit, the beat is incredibly RnB and the vocals are passionate and pure. Despite this, the song has less than 50,000 listens.
All of Trey’s singles before this album dropped back in the summer of 2012 gained popularity, but the album itself was not talked about much. There were some dud songs on there, but I would add this to one of my favorites from him. I will be honest that Trigga is absolutely my least favorite album by Trey, and I am a huge Trey Songz fan. Despite this, several worse songs from that album have had more listens than Forever Yours.
Overall, I’ll give this one a 9.25/10. I just don’t like the talking parts in the bridge, but it does not last long. The song is very enjoyable and one of my personal favorites years later. Give it a listen below:
